Begin the day getting to know the true beauty of Patagonia with a scenic hike through the beautiful Reserva Forestal Magallanes. Be introduced to local wildlife, flora and fauna before finishing your hike at a scenic lookout and enjoying a picnic lunch of local Patagonian cuisine.
Then, travel through the city, stopping at historical and cultural points of interest, including the Museo Maggiorino Borgatello, the Municipal Cemetery, and the Plaza.
Finish with high tea and pastries in a beautiful antique cafe before being returned to your ship, hotel, or to your next adventure.

Get picked up in the morning at the pick-up location of your choice by your guide along with your professional driver.
Arrive at the Reserva Forestal Magallanes and receive a small briefing before you get hiking. Get outfitted with trekking poles to assist you on the trail, and be given a brief introduction to the activities of the day.
Patagonian Forest Hike
Elevation Gain: 150m
Take a hike through the gorgeous centenary forest of the Reserva Forestal and learn the secrets that it holds. Get introduced by your guide to the variety of native flora and fauna that live here, and learn about the history and geology of the Region de Magallanes.
Stop at picturesque lookouts over the forest and take a short break to marvel in the beauty of this special place before continuing back under the canopy to finish your hike.
Lookout Picnic Celebration
Finish your hike and celebrate your great effort with a picnic lunch of local Patagonian cuisine. Relax and have your food at a scenic lookout with stunning views of Punta Arenas city, the Strait of Magellan, and the trees of the Reserva Forestal.
Mirador Cerro de la Cruz
Leave the Reserva and return to the city to get to know Punta Arenas. Start your city tour off with a trip to the Cerro de la Cruz lookout, famous for its beautiful view of Punta Arenas and the Strait of Magellan.
